The apartment has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully fitted kitchen, and spacious living/dining area. There is a very large, private rooftop solarium which has un-interrupted sea views and a separate barbeque area - if you don't fancy the 50m walk to the beach you can top up your tan here. There are also two communal pools and security controlled access within the complex.
Nueva Ribera Beach Complex has one of the best possible locations on the Mar Menor sea. Situated in Los Alcázares, the apartments are just 50m from the sandy beach and enjoy beautiful views across the Mar Menor sea towards La Manga.
It is a perfect location for those wishing to enjoy a beach holiday but also has the added bonus of being on the edge of a seaside town with a wide range of shops, bars, banks, restaurants and markets. The large Saturday market, with it's excellent range of fresh fruit, vegetables and clothing, takes place on your doorstep. Additionally, Murcia airport is just 2 miles away so this is an ideal location for those not wishing to drive.
There is a shopping complex approximately 10 mins walk from the apartments. This has a well stocked supermarket called Maxi Dia in this complex which has all you need for your holiday. There is also a range of places to eat, chinese, english cafe, resturants within a short walk. There is also a bar on the left hand side of the road walking up to the supermarket which is friendly and a nice place to cool off in the heat of summer.
The part of Los Alcázares they call the "Plaza" is 20 mins walk from the apartments. Here you can find a very wide range of shops, banks, bars and restaurants. The security guard in the apartment complex is happy to call a taxi if required - normally less than 6 Euro for 4 people. |

Los Alcazares is on the edge of the Mar Menor a large inland sea, separated from the Mediterranean sea by the well known La Manga strip. The coastal area is the Costa Calida, which forms part of the Murcia region. There is a local ferry in summer that goes direct from Los Alcazares beach to the La Manga Strip so that you can enjoy a day on the beach at La Manga.
Go karting is available on the airport road from Los Alcazares. Another local town that is worth a visit to is Santiago de la Ribera, which has a long promenade and beach that stretches 3 miles to Lo Pagan. Markets are in all the local towns on different days (local markets Saturday and Tuesday am) details are kept within the apartment.
There is a fantastic 3 day festival in Los Alcazares at Easter with a full procession, activities on the beach and a medieval market in the town centre. Within walking distance is a local indoor sports centre & swimming pool for use in the cooler months and an outdoor pool at Mammas restaurant. |
